PARIS attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam has been captured alive after a shootout with police.
Dramatic pictures show the moment the world's most wanted terrorist was arrested after being shot in the legs in the raid in Brussels, Belgium.
Belgian migration minister Theo Francken tweeted: "We got him" when Abdeslam was taken alive.
And a second man arrested in operations in the Molenbeek district was named as Monir Ahmed Al Hadj.
Al Hadj is also suspected of being involved in the Paris atrocities which shook the world in November last year, and was on Belgian authorities' wanted list.
Three people thought to have been harbouring Abdeslam have also been arrested.
Grenades were used in the operation which unfolded at about 4.30pm, and Abdeslam and one other suspect were wounded.
A man who Belgian prosecutors said was an accomplice of Abdeslam was shot dead.Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel has confirmed three men were captured in the anti-terror raid.
